Based on the true story of African musician Bosco, this beautiful film tells his moving story. As a young child, he witnessed the massacre of his parents by Tutsi soldiers. The trauma caused him to go blind with a medical condition called Conversion Disorder. Fortunately, Bosco was rescued by Maison Shalom, a refuge for orphaned children in Burundi, and here he was encouraged to realize his dream to become a successful musician. This is an AFI production, designed by Kevin Houlihan, SLOIFF's 2011 Scholarship recipient.
